We have made the decision that for the coming months, the donations   usually sent per sale towards the planting of trees will instead be redirected to the humanitarian crisis in the Yemen.

We will be donating monthly to

Save the Childrens Yemen Crisis Appeal.

"There is a magic machine that sucks carbon out of the air, costs very little and builds itself. It's called a tree."

Greta Thunberg

Here at Quince & Cook we plant a tree for every order placed online in a bid to offset our CO2 and help communities far and wide.

Well, actually you plant your own tree, in our Quince & Cook forest. Without even getting your hands dirty!

Once you have placed your order from Q&C you will receive an email inviting you to plant your very own tree in our forest.

We have partnered with our friends at Tree Nation to support their forestry efforts and each year Quince & Cook will choose a new Tree Nation project for us all to support together.

This year we are working with Tree Nation to plant trees in the Usambara Biodiversity Conservation Project in Tanzania. The overall goal and purpose of this project is to conserve local biodiversity in what is a global biodiversity hot spot. We do this by making a significant contribution in sustainable conservation and management of the Magamba Mature Reserve and Jegestal Water Source by planting fruit, fodder, and other trees. This in turn will help to reduce pressure (dependence) on the forest reserve while creating income and generating opportunities for the schools and villagers.
