    ILVE cookers are both designed and made near Venice in Italy. These cookers are made by the modern day craftsmen and craftswomen of Italy who use their skills to craft beautiful and efficient cookers.

    This is a testament to Ilve's commitment to creating high-quality ranges that help their customers craft delicious meals in their kitchens.

    Ilve ovens are not self-cleaning, but they are designed to be easily cleaned.

    Newer Ilve ranges have brass burners that are coated in a special black coating that repels dirt and ensures they are easy to clean. Just use warm soapy water and a cloth and it's brand new.

    Newer Ilve range ovens are also coated in an easy to clean enamel. Simply use soapy water on a warm (not hot) oven and the dirt will slide off.

    Ilve are themselves through and through. Manufacturing their own cookers ensures that quality control is followed and that each cooker has the desired efficiency and design.

    Ilve and Hallman have very similiar cookers. They are both made in Italy and share a similiar aesthetic. Hallman are more budget friendly than Ilve cookers but do lack some of Ilve's qualities.

    Hallman are also aimed for the American cooker market - you'll have a hard time finding them in the UK.
