The perfect solution for kitchen waste management, the La Cafetière Renew Composter and Knockbox is ideal for tea and coffee drinkers alike. Collect brewing waste, including biodegradable tea bags, loose-leaf tea and coffee grounds and compost for later use in the garden. The knock box will store the contents of your brew and the filter will catch all solid waste, allowing you to rinse your cafetière through it without blocking your kitchen drains. The drip tray will retain any excess moisture from the contents and can be easily removed for use in watering plants. while the solid waste retained in the filter can be made into compost. The container features a removable bar coated in rubber for effective absorption of knocking impact, it’s odour free and features a non-slip base for optimal stability. The composter and knock box is partly made from organic by-products of coffee production that would otherwise go to waste. For care and use, we recommend handwashing with mild soap regularly. The composter and knockbox include a 5-year guarantee.

    We dispatch orders from Monday to Friday – five days a week. Orders placed before 1pm are dispatched on the same day. All orders placed after 1pm are dispatched the following day.

    We sadly can't deliver to PO Box addresses.

    Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the following morning, and orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on the Monday. In case of a delayed delivery please contact us quoting your name, order number and full address and we will look straight into it for you.

    Delivery prices are dependent product size and are broken down as follows and will be automatically calculated at checkout:

    • Small Item Shipping (Orders under £10): £3.50
    • Letterbox Kits: £3.50 
    • Expedited Shipping: £6.95 – Royal Mail 24 Tracked
    • Transparent Shipping £6.14 - Royal Mail 48 Tracked - This is how much you it costs us to ship your order. As a small business we just don't get the margin on postal fees that the biggies do. 

    The carrier we use is Royal Mail, they will leave you a card letting you know that a delivery has been attempted. The card should have detailed instructions informing you on how to obtain your parcel. You will have 7 days from the date of attempted delivery to rearrange delivery, after this date items will automatically be returned to us. If the item is returned to us in this way, we will need to charge again for postage before sending the item out again. We will contact you first. To avoid delays in delivering your parcel, we recommend having your item shipped to your daytime address (for example, your work address).


    Unfortunately we are unable to send items out with the UK at the moment, we are working on this.


    We hope that you love your purchase, but if for any reason it’s not right, please don’t hesitate to return within 14 working days of delivery. Returned items should be adequately insured during the return journey with proof of postage, Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery.

    On the rare occasion that your product is faulty please contact us to arrange collection free of charge. Non faulty items will have to be returned at your own cost.

    Please allow 28 days for your refund to be processed.

    Shipping times will also vary from the above as many items are special delivery due to their size. Shortly after order, a date will be provided and the courier will liaise with you via email or text to confirm precise timings.
