We adore all of the businesses mentioned. There’s such value in shopping locally. Not only are you supporting a family business or a budding entrepreneur, but the quality of the food and drinks on offer is simply incredible. Perhaps even a little too good! It’s very easy to keep on snacking when you have such tasty treats on the doorstep.
Provender Brown Delicatessen
Nestled in Perth city centre, Provender Brown Delicatessen is one of our favourite places to swing by for some top picks in artisan food and drinks. Specialising in a delicious range of cheeses, cold meats, gin and much more, Fiona and her team are huge advocates for supporting local makers. One of the best ways to sample their range of foodie treats is to get yourself a grazing platter including condiments, cheeses, crackers and more. Perfect for a romantic evening or a family get together.
Casella and Polegato
Casella and Polegato is a delightful Italian bakery in the heart of Perth. All organic ingredients go into their breads, buns and more using traditional Italian recipes. You can pick up a range of loaves, from organic malthouse rustic to sun dried tomato and more. Keep an eye out for their weekly special breads also!

Situated just outside of Perth is the peaceful retreat Broadslap Fruit Farm. This is such a lovely little gem in Perthshire which deserves an afternoon visit. Take in the stunning countryside views whilst the kiddies muck about in the play barn before tucking into some delicious home cooking in the café. Of course, followed by a trip to the farm and gift shop. Here you can pick up fruit and vegetables grown on site as well as condiments and veg sourced by fellow local producers in Perthshire.
St. Andrews Gin Co
It’s no secret that we have been huge fans of St Andrews Gin’s amazing range gin flavours. You can pop open a bottle of their classic dry gin, or opt for something a little more fancy with their limited edition Orange, Tonka Bean and Cardamon, Pink Grapefruit and Lemongrass and Ginger. Serve over ice with a dash of tonic and or lemonade as a weekend treat.

Now in its fourth generation of the family, George Campbell and Sons is our top fishmonger to check out in Perth. As well as being a busy deli shop, the team pride themselves in sourcing the freshest local fish and shellfish. Top quality flavour and sustainable practices are key to what they do.
