    Material & Build Quality

The Ovens are made from Cast Iron - AGA hotplate is also mde from Cast-Iron - and the classic AGA build-quality.

    Warranty Length & Coverage

AGA appliances benefit from a one year labour and five year parts warranty.

If your product is not used in a normal domestic setting then this may invalidate your manufacturers warranty. Under this warranty accidental damage is not included.

    Cleaning & Maintenance Requirements

The easiest way to clean the AGA top plate and front plate is to mop up spills as they happen.

Clean off any condensation streaks on the front plate around the oven doors or the vitreous enamel maybe permanently discoloured.

All that is usually needed to keep the vitreous enamelled surfaces of your cooker bright and clean is a daily rub over with a damp, soapy cloth followed immediately with a clean, dry cloth to avoid streaks.

The fan oven is fitted with a back panel which is of self cleaning enamel and should not be scoured.

All of the remaining surfaces of both ovens are vitreous enamelled and can be cleaned with proprietary vitreous enamel cleaners approved by the Vitreous Enamel Association. The shelves can be removed and if necessary the shelf supports may also be removed by taking out the screws. These items may be washed in the sink with normal oven cleaners, you may use a fine wool soap pad for removing stubborn stains from the oven bases and shelf supports.

Ease of Use & Control Interface

The AGA R3 Series is designed with everyday convenience in mind, delivering the renowned AGA cooking experience in a simpler, more accessible format. Unlike traditional always-on AGAs, the R3 features independently controlled cooking zones, so you only use the heat you need - helping to reduce energy consumption and heat output into the kitchen.

Each cast-iron oven is individually heated and electric, allowing you to switch between cooking modes (roasting, baking, simmering) with pre-set temperature ranges. There’s no need to wait for the whole cooker to warm up - just activate the ovens or hotplates as needed.

The hotplate can be set to boiling or simmering mode, while models with induction zones offer precise, rapid-response cooking with touch controls. On dual-fuel 60 cm models, a traditional four-burner gas hob offers intuitive heat control with instant ignition.

With no flue, no regular servicing, and simple on/off controls (rather than a digital touchscreen), the R3 offers a streamlined, user-friendly interface that suits modern living. It’s an AGA designed to fit effortlessly into busy households - offering flexibility, lower running costs, and the timeless joy of cast-iron cooking.

    Cooking Performance & Consistency

The AGA R3 offers the authentic AGA cooking experience in a more flexible and energy-conscious format, making it well suited to modern homes. Unlike traditional heat-storage AGAs, the R3 allows you to control each oven and hotplate independently - so you can use only what you need, when you need it.

Each cast-iron oven is electrically powered and features pre-set temperature modes for roasting, baking, and simmering. This makes it easy to achieve consistent cooking results while reducing warm-up times and energy use. You can activate ovens individually based on what you're cooking, giving you more day-to-day versatility.

The hotplate can be set to either boiling or simmering mode, depending on your needs. On models with an induction hob, you also get fast, precise control for everyday cooking. Dual-fuel 60 cm versions include a four-burner gas hob for those who prefer a traditional flame.

Because the AGA R3 is fully electric (or electric with a gas hob on select models), it doesn’t require a flue or regular servicing. It’s easy to install and maintain, offering the enduring quality of cast-iron AGA cooking with the convenience and efficiency today’s kitchens demand.
