The ecoegg Laundry Egg is a 2 in 1 replacement for laundry detergent + softener, giving you a greener laundry solution. It cleans clothes effectively using two types of pellets – white washing pellets and the black tourmaline pellets – encased in a recyclable, refillable laundry egg case.

The white pellets do the cleaning and the black pellets increase the efficiency of the white pellets by reducing the water surface tension, drawing out the dirt. The egg itself helps to remove dirt and soften your laundry items. Want the Einstein level of explanation? Click here. 

The detergent pellets are designed with a gentle on skin formula, containing no chlorine bleaches, phosphates, parabens, SLS/SLES or palm oil and leave significantly less detergent itchy residue on your clothes versus traditional detergents and fabric softeners.  

EcoEgg founder, Dawn, personally battled with eczema whilst growing up. Her own struggles made her realise the sensitivity of skin to normal detergents which inspired her to invent a new type of detergent that is much gentler on skin. The formula is lightly fragranced to be gentle on delicate skin AND have been dermatologically tested and rated “excellent” by Dermatest for sensitive skin. While a lot of us are familiar with strong, chemically fragranced detergents, strong fragrance doesn’t always mean clean. We get the job done whilst being gentle on skin. 

Refills: At the end of your Laundry Eggs life (70 washes with the classic laundry egg), the pellets inside your egg will begin to disintegrate. They will have reduced significantly in size and become heavily pitted, do not fear – this is your sign you need to buy your refill pellets!

HOW OUR DELIVERIES WORK

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday, five days a week.

Orders placed before 1pm will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the following working day, and orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday.

Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow its journey.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

If your delivery seems to be taking a little longer than expected, please get in touch with your name, order number and full delivery address and we’ll happily look into it for you.

Delivery is calculated automatically at checkout depending on the size and value of your order:

• Standard Shipping – £4.95
  Royal Mail Tracked 48
• Small Item Shipping – £3.50
  Available on qualifying orders under £10
• Expedited Shipping – £6.95
  Royal Mail Tracked 24 – Royal Mail aims to deliver the next working day after dispatch, although this is not a guaranteed next-day service.
• Transparent Shipping – £6.14
  Royal Mail Tracked 48. This is the actual cost to us of sending your parcel. As a small independent business, we don’t have access to the heavily discounted postal rates available to the big guys, so this option simply covers our postage cost.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT HOME?

Our parcels are sent with Royal Mail. If they’re unable to deliver your parcel, they’ll provide details of your delivery options, which may include rearranging delivery or collecting your parcel.

If a parcel is eventually returned to us because delivery couldn’t be completed, we’ll contact you. If you’d like us to send it again, we may need to charge the postage cost for redelivery.

If you know you won’t be home, you may prefer to have your order delivered to an alternative address where someone will be available to receive it.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY

At the moment, we’re unfortunately unable to ship outside the UK. We hope to change this in the future.

RETURNS TO QUINCE & COOK

We hope you love your purchase, but if it’s not quite right, you can return it to us within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging and in resalable condition. We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping your proof of postage until your refund has been processed.

Please include a completed returns form inside your parcel, as missing information may delay your refund. You can request a returns form by emailing orders@quinceandcook.co.uk.

Unless an item is faulty, return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us before returning it so that we can arrange the appropriate return at no cost to you.

Please allow up to 28 days for your refund to be processed.

COOKER & APPLIANCE ORDERS

Cookers and large appliances are subject to separate delivery, cancellation and returns terms. Please see our Terms & Conditions for information relating to individual manufacturers.

Delivery times will also differ from those above, as many large items require a specialist delivery service. Following your order, we’ll provide further information about your expected delivery date, and the courier will usually contact you by email or text to confirm the arrangements.

Delivery charges for large appliances also vary and will be calculated at checkout.
