Glycolic Acid is naturally occurring natural substance derived from Sugar Cane.

As an AHA Acid (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) its structure works on the surface layers of your skin; breaking down the bonds that hold dead skin cells together - in short it is the Holy Grail of exfoliation!

Glycolic Acid reacts with the sebum (natural oils) on the top layers of your skin, breaking down the oils and other substances that hold the cells together.

As Glycolic Acid is made of tiny molecules, it penetrates the skin deeply and easily.

When the 'carrier' cleanser is washed off, dead skin cells are removed, revealing smoother, brighter, fresher younger-looking skin.

Glycolic Acid can be used in regular skincare routines, and even by sensitive skins without causing any irritation.

It brings rejuvenating benefits to your skincare routine, and its botanical properties help treat skin conditions including psoriasis, Melasma and Seborrheic Keratosis. It is often used to treat scarring, skin discolouration and signs of ageing.

It also helps transfer water molecules from the air to skin tissue, replenishing lost moisture. Studies have shown that regular use of Glycolic Acid skincare products assists with boosting collagen production, which is brilliant for plumping up the skin: collagen is a vital structural protein, helping the skin remain firm and resist wrinkling

HOW TO USE

Massage into dry skin avoiding eyes. Leave for 3-5 minutes, remove with warm water and follow up with toner and moisturiser. Skin WILL redden after use - this is due to the blood circulation being stimulated, and will die down shortly after.

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday, five days a week.

Orders placed before 1pm will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the following working day, and orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday.

Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow its journey.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

If your delivery seems to be taking a little longer than expected, please get in touch with your name, order number and full delivery address and we’ll happily look into it for you.

Delivery is calculated automatically at checkout depending on the size and value of your order:

  Royal Mail Tracked 48
• Small Item Shipping – £3.50
  Available on qualifying orders under £10
• Expedited Shipping – £6.95
  Royal Mail Tracked 24 – Royal Mail aims to deliver the next working day after dispatch, although this is not a guaranteed next-day service.
• Transparent Shipping – £6.14
  Royal Mail Tracked 48. This is the actual cost to us of sending your parcel. As a small independent business, we don’t have access to the heavily discounted postal rates available to the big guys, so this option simply covers our postage cost.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT HOME?

Our parcels are sent with Royal Mail. If they’re unable to deliver your parcel, they’ll provide details of your delivery options, which may include rearranging delivery or collecting your parcel.

If a parcel is eventually returned to us because delivery couldn’t be completed, we’ll contact you. If you’d like us to send it again, we may need to charge the postage cost for redelivery.

If you know you won’t be home, you may prefer to have your order delivered to an alternative address where someone will be available to receive it.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY

At the moment, we’re unfortunately unable to ship outside the UK. We hope to change this in the future.

RETURNS TO QUINCE & COOK

We hope you love your purchase, but if it’s not quite right, you can return it to us within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging and in resalable condition. We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping your proof of postage until your refund has been processed.

Unless an item is faulty, return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us before returning it so that we can arrange the appropriate return at no cost to you.

Please allow up to 28 days for your refund to be processed.

COOKER & APPLIANCE ORDERS

Cookers and large appliances are subject to separate delivery, cancellation and returns terms. Please see our Terms & Conditions for information relating to individual manufacturers.

Delivery times will also differ from those above, as many large items require a specialist delivery service. Following your order, we’ll provide further information about your expected delivery date, and the courier will usually contact you by email or text to confirm the arrangements.

Delivery charges for large appliances also vary and will be calculated at checkout.
