The Charlieu starts at £10,070
The 1405mm wide Charlieu with two large main ovens, offers real dual fuel potential. In addition to the two main ovens, there is a 79 litre simmer oven. The simmer oven offers the flexibility to plate warm, hold food and even slow cook. The simmer oven can also be specified as a 65 litre dual function electric oven & grill. There is a choice of three hobs (two gas and one induction) and space for an additional integrated hob element such as a chargrill, extra burners or a multi cooker.
- Hobs: The Charlieu is available with a choice of two different gas hob types: the five open burner classic hob or the traditional hob with four open burners and the large cast iron French top, which is excellent for recipes advocating long simmer times or even maintaining heat before serving dishes. The traditional top offers incredible versatility, including that of a workstation when not in use. For customers without a gas supply, the Lacanche Charlieu is also available with a five-zone energy efficient induction hob. With the Charlieu range, there is space to add an additional integrated hob element such as gas burners, induction elements, or even a chargrill.
- Ovens: The Lacanche Charlieu has two main ovens which can be individually specified as gas, static electric, or convection (fan). As standard the side oven is specified as a 79 litre simmer oven. As an optional extra this cavity can be specified as a 65 litre dual function electric oven.

Colours
For your Lacanche Classic or Modern range cooker, choose from any of the 29 beautiful enamelled colours (or stainless steel). Each panel is hand enamelled with three layers and fired at 850 degrees C. The result is a beautiful deep intense colour that is easy to clean and will look just as good in twenty years as the day it was fired.
Behind the name
Charlieu is a historic village located in the Loire department in France. Charlieu is recognised as one of the “100 Most Beautiful Detours in France”. The village’s name is believed to derive from the Latin term Carus locus, meaning “beloved place”.
