We've all been there, last minute coffee meet, school bake sale or kids after an afternoon snack in a hurry. This incredibly simple 3 ingredient recipe is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. We hope you love it, our kids gave them a 50 out of 10!
Products we used:
Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl - £14
Pewter Digital Scales 5kg - £13
Beech Wooden Spoon 45cm - £2.75
Cookie dough / Ice cream scoop - £17
Non-Stick 39cm Baking Tray - £14
Ingredients
Makes 12 cookies
- 240g Nutella
- 150g Plain flour
- 1 Large free range egg
- (1 handful of dark chocolate buttons optional)
Method
- Pre heat the oven to 180°C.
- Add the Nutella and egg together in a large bowl.
- Mix until well combined, then add the flour.
- At this point you can add an additional flavouring if you like nuts, choc chips or dried fruit - totally optional but great for adding texture!
- The mixture will form a thick dough but should be moist enough to roll into balls.
- Use an ice cream scoop or wet hands to shape into 12 portions.
- Place cookies on your baking sheet and flatten them slightly with your fingertips or the bottom of a glass.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until they are cooked around the edges and still slightly soft in the middle.
- Let the cookies sit on the baking tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a storage tin, your plate or children's mitts!
